He joined the group at Chalke valley in 2022 and has integrated with the group quickly, using his background to supplement the groups incredible knowledge. Martin first got into re-enactment following a trip to Normandy for the 70th anniversary of D-day which built on an already deep interest in the 2nd world war. Martin has taken the rank of leading seaman sailmaker first class and brings knowledge of rope work, signal flags and use of the bosuns call (a whistle used for giving orders). Martin also portrays a RN Commando Chaplain and provides church services for the group. Martins favourite event is Military odyssey in Kent.
